Say it ain't so, Kevin

Kevin_spacey
So Kevin Spacey says he’s had it with film acting. TimesOnline reports that Spacey, who moonlights away from Hollywood as artistic director of London’s Old Vic theater, told London Tonight, “I don’t care about my personal acting career any more. I’m done with it.” Now, those are words that give a guy’s agents ulcers, but they should be tempered with a pinch or two of salt. After all, the Oscar-winning Spacey was playing to his new hometown crowd -- the London theater set. For the record, Spacey isn’t about to disappear from movie screens any time soon since he’s currently got two films in post: The upcoming Vince Vaughn comedy “Fred Claus” and the MIT card sharks go up against Vegas tale, “21.” After that look for Spacey, who’s an adept mimic, to do his best Al Pacino/Michael Corleoni impersonation: “Just when I thought that I was out they pull me back in.” (Gregg Kilday)
