Remembering Heath -- And Planning for Life Without Him
By Borys Kit
Heath Ledger continues to be an object of grieving for the film biz - and a source of speculation when it comes to upcoming projects.
After Chris Nolan's moving Newsweek letter about Ledger's creativity and dedication, the attention has turned to the future of other projects the actor had been working on.
Some reports have Johnny Depp picking up where Ledger left off in Terry Gilliam's "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus (the character moves through different worlds, and his different appearance could be explained through shapeshifting).
There's also the possibility of CG techniques being used to help finish the film without the casting of a new actor.
Earlier, Warner Bros. was one of the first entities to issue a public statement expressing its sorrow about the tragedy. Ledger had recently completed work on "The Dark Knight," in which he plays the Joker and for which he was supposed to be a key part of the marketing campaign. The studio made a show of respect by subtly tweaking a Web site it had put together promoting the film and the character,

It seems to me that if Heath Ledger had one true friend in America, he probably would not be dead.I have been taking six different types of medication for over a year. They are Seroquel for sleep, believe me it works wonders for sleep,15 minutes and your asleep for eight hours, Xanax,Provigel,Klonpin,Cymbalta. and Delpin. These medications if not taken correctly can cause a toxic reaction. My Dr takes very good care of me by making me take blood work and urine tests every so often.Hws wonder fill. Whenever I SEE HIM every that is said at my appointment with him ,he puts it into his computer. Also on each prescription there is a notation to the efect that if Iam being treated by any other Dr he is to be notified. If I could reach one star and that has a problem I WOULD highly recomend them to this Dr,because it would save them from ending up like Heath Ledger. There is one star that I truely worry about, he is not in the news very ofton, but he is a very popular actor, and like Heath Ledger from another country. There is this building I go by every day, that is still being built, the name of this place reminds me of him all the time and I SAY TO MYSELF, i hope he doesnt have a problemm.Every one should have a Dr like mine.Im happy and healthy.I worry about these young stars,I have two boys of my own,20 and 22, one is in his second year of collage, andthe older one is going to flight school. My point is I WISH THESE YOUNG ACTORS had people around themm that truely cared about there well being.Heath Ledgers death could of been avoided.
