The Ludlum Prophecy

Bourne

It's happened. Denzel is the newest Ludlum hero in the much-pursued "Matarese Circle" project. (Assuming the script, which hasn't been written yet, matches what the buyers want).

MGM and Relativity are the lucky winners, though given that the word has it they paid $5 million for the pitch, the sellers were pretty big winners themselves. MGM was actually a late entrant in the sweepstakes, meeting with producers and agents Thursday, several days after Fox and Universal had already showed serious interest.

Denz

Then again, the price seems worth it -- Denzel jetting around the world fighting shadowy killers may be almost as enjoyable as Matt Damon hurtling around the globe chasing same.
