Chris Nolan and Heath Ledger, redux

Heath Ledger wins for "Dark Knight," but the interesting bit is Chris Nolan getting up again. Standing ovation. Presenter Demi Moore said there had been a tribute prepared "in case he won the award," then a clip from "Knight" (including the line in which the character makes reference to Tom "you complete me" Cruise," a fellow nominee of course in the category),

Nolan gives a similar speech to the one he gave at Critics Choice, noting "an awful mixture of sadness but incredible pride...You saw a hole ripped in the future of cinema but with extraordinary response to his work we've seen all over the world, I started looking a little less at the future and a little more at the incredible place in the history of cinema he built for himself with his talent and his artistry...he will be eternally missed but he will never be forgotten." One big awards show down, the Oscars still to come.
